ABOUT SANEBOX

SaneBox is a solution for email management that interfaces with IMAP and Exchange Web Services (EWS) email accounts. Its principal role is to route unnecessary email messages to a folder for subsequent processing.
In 2010, a small group of nerds was contemplating their next project. They were transformed with purpose after reading certain blog postings. Email overload was not nearly as terrible in 2010 as it is now, and their goal has only gotten clearer and their mission more expensive since then.

SaneBox is a self-funded corporation with offices in Boston and Venice, California. Stuart Roseman formed it in 2010 in reaction to publications by Bijan Sabet, Fred Wilson (financier), and Michael Arrington. Roseman has already started and sold several businesses, including Gamesville and Game logic. SaneBox unveiled SaneBox for Business in 2012, signaling a change toward a more business-to-business focus.

HOW DOES SANEBOX WORK?

SaneBox neither sends nor receives emails. It works with your email provider to filter out irrelevant messages. Everything else goes into SaneBox files.SaneBox establishes a secure connection with your email server to monitor incoming messages. Our robots examine your email history to determine what’s essential. As an email enters your Inbox, we analyze its significance and ask the server to move it.SaneBox doesn’t read email bodies. It examines header data.SaneBox email folders are just smarter. SaneBox is similar to using folders.
