THE STORY BEHIND DANIEL WELLINGTON

It was a coincidental meeting halfway around the world that inspired the idea for Daniel Wellington. On this trip, our founder, Filip Tysander, met an intriguing British gentleman with impeccable yet understated style. The man had a particular fondness for wearing his vintage watches on old, weathered NATO straps. His name? Daniel Wellington.

Inspired by his new acquaintance’s timeless style, Filip decided to create his own line of watches. Minimalistic and refined, the classic design with interchangeable straps that came to be has become a staple, with truly wide-ranging appeal. A few years on, this design is still part of the fabric of what makes Daniel Wellington so special.

THE DESIGN

Daniel Wellington loved to wear his watches on old NATO straps. We liked the ingenuity of this combination so much that we wanted to incorporate the idea in our own line of watches. It was imperative for us to craft a modern yet truly classic watch. We wanted a clean and minimalistic design that would complement the various patterns and colours of the iconic NATO straps.

After returning from his travels, Filip sat down and began to look at different samples and colour ways. It was important that he loved the watch himself, or he could never sell it and be proud of it. Slowly but surely, a beautiful watch emerged. It was thin, elegant and perfectly round. A testament to minimalistic Scandinavian design, with the precision and accuracy of a Japanese movement watch.

This classic yet refreshingly crisp design can mix and match seamlessly with our colourful NATO strap, the smart leather strap and the beautifully crafted mesh strap. The Daniel Wellington style will appeal to almost everyone with a taste for classic and timeless design.

REFUND POLICY

You have the right to return any/all products you have purchased directly from their  website within 14 days of receiving the item. Instructions are given below :

  • “Complimentary” items (or any free product received as part of a promotional offer) are not eligible to be exchanged and must be returned along with the other items in your order for them to accept your return.
  • The product(s) must be unused – in its original packaging with labels and protective stickers intact – and still in the same new condition as when the watch was received.
  • Products purchased directly from their website must be returned to their  warehouse for a return and full refund to be made; product(s) cannot be returned in a local retail store.
  • Kindly note that the customer is liable to pay the shipping charges for returning the package, in case DW is unable to pick up the product from your location.
  • Daniel Wellington does not take responsibility for any items lost during the return shipping.
  • Once the pickup is done, refund / exchange shall get processed / created within 18-20 business days (Excluding Sat, Sun and any public holidays).

HOW TO RETURN YOUR ORDER :

• Customers are required to return the product in its original packaging to the pickup person without sealing it. Pickup person will do the basic Quality Check and collect the product. There is no need to take a print and paste any return label on the box.

• Customers should ask for an acknowledgement slip while handing over the package to the pickup person, as it is a mandatory requirement for tracking the order.

• Return just a click away: Please click on the below link to submit your response and the return shall be created in 1-3 business days. The pickup would happen within 2-6 business days after generating the return.

PAYMENT

You may pay with either credit or debit cards, cash on delivery (“COD”), Unified Payments Interface (UPI), Net banking, and Wallets. CC Avenue manages all of our banking transactions. Time Master does not store any credit card numbers.

ORDERING

Orders made in another person’s name without his consent, or otherwise will be reported to the authorities. Time Master holds the right to change prices, correct incorrect prices on all orders as well as final sales. If a price is incorrect, this may compel Time Master to cancel the purchase and refund any amount paid in the best way. This can be performed at any time.

Customers have the right to return the order for free within 14 days from receiving the order. The right applies only in the case that the product and its original packaging can be returned in the same condition as when received. Customer is liable to return the order on his own and liable to bear the shipping expenses, in case the pickup does not happen by the brand.

Customers use their right to send back an order, they should contact Time Master in order to get an address to send the goods to. In case of receiving a wrong item / Missing product, customers should contact the brand within couple of business days, after receiving the order.

WARRANTY

Note that repair/replacements will be charged in the following cases, even during the warranty term.

  • Failure or damage caused by improper use or carelessness (knocks, dents, crushing, broken crystal, etc.)
  • Failure or damage caused by unjustifiable repair or modification
  • Failure or damage caused by fire or water, or a natural disaster such as for example an earthquake
  • Esthetic changes that occur during normal wear and tear and aging (minor scratches, etc.; on the case and/or crystal, alteration of the color on the wristband and the peeling of the plating)
  • In case the retail store and the purchase date are not indicated on the warranty, or if this information has been rewritten
  • If the warranty is not submitted along with the watch.
  • Battery replacement will be charged even during the warranty term.

The case, dial, hands, crystal, watchband or other parts thereof may be replaced with substitutes if the originals are not available.

This warranty warrants that you can receive free replacement in accordance with the terms set forth herein and within the specified term, and shall not restrict any lawful right of the Customer.

DELIVERY AND CANCELLATIONS

Time Master ships In India. Deliveries are made in cooperation with the postal services and their partners have the right to cancel purchases and return delivered goods by contacting Time Master’s customer service or using the contact form on Time Master’s website within 30 days from receiving the goods https://www.danielwellington.com/in/contact-us/, provided the goods are unpacked and in the same condition as when you received them. However, the customer is responsible for the cost and risk for transporting the returned goods to Time Master.

In cases, you as a customer believe that the delivery is delayed in such a way that you no longer wish to fulfil the order, it is your responsibility to cancel the order. In cases where the order has been dispatched, the customer is required to receive the order. Cancellation is not valid until the customer has confirmed with Time Master either by email or telephone. If a product has been discontinued Time Master has the right to cancel the purchase and refund the paid amount to

the customer. Time Master will notify the customer of a replacement or equivalent products if available.

COMPLAINTS TERMS

It is important that you as a customer carefully check your goods / products when you receive your shipment in order to verify that the products are not damaged and correct. If your product is damaged in transport, whether the damage is visible or hidden, you must report this as soon as possible to the carrier. If you receive your item and see that it is damaged or does not match the one you ordered or, you shall also contact us within 30 days from receiving the product.

Any complaints shall be made to our customer service through our contact form on the contact page. Please supply the order number and the reason for complaint and we will get back to you shortly with instructions on how to return the item. Defective products returned to Time Master should be treated as if they were faultless. It is in all types of returns extremely important that the product is packaged in such a way that it cannot be damaged during transit. In the case that a returned product has no errors or faults. Time Master has the right to replace defective goods with goods of the same model. If the item has been discontinued, the customer will receive a full refund.
